Right before Christmas Luca took his first subway ride. We started off in Greenpoint and went to the East Village (he’s so hip!). It was a big step as we are germ freaks and wanted to keep him away from all the things that are lurking below…
He did awesome, was very well behaved and curious, and of course was a big attraction to the other passengers. Luca has a way of making people smile!

Mmmm bread! Luca gnaws on frozen bread to help his teething and for a little snack. He now also snacks on Cheerios – very adept at picking them up one at a time and putting them into his mouth.

Luca loves to eat. He’s onto to applesauce, sweet potatoes (his favorite), bananas, pears, peas (not a fave) and yogurt. We’re adding something new each week. This week we are going to revisit carrots. How can you not like carrots???

Luca’s first Thanksgiving at the annual family event. Lots of people, but Luca’s social skills are improving and he was able to be passed around and visit with everyone.
Back from a little break on posting. We had a few weeks of colds and stomach flu here (our first bout with sick baby…). Happy to report that we are all healthy and ready for all the fun of Luca’s upcoming first Christmas!
